Eclipse

Last night there was an eclipse. It has been many years since I have seen one - a full one. It was a beautiful clear night with a bright full moon. Couldn't have asked for better viewing conditions - although a little warmer would have been nice. But it was warm for February. Sort of exciting. We took a few pics - sorry they are blurry.

Tracks

Sierra and I went outside this afternoon and we came across a bunch of different tracks. We found bunny tracks. I haven't seen any bunnies this winter so I thought we didn't have any this year - but we found the tracks. Lots of bunny tracks

We also have a deer trail the goes through our yard. It goes through our back yard and over the little fence into the front yard. It stops at some big bushes then goes over to a tree, then out through the front yard.Deer trail through our yard.

And of course we can't forget the little kid tracks. Those are the cutest.Sierra's foot prints.

I have also seen several bald eagles lately. A good sign that spring is on the way. It was a really warm day today and suppose to be a warm weekend as well.

P.S. Jake saw three wolves at work today. It looks like they are starting to build a pack on the south side of the valley.

Coffee Table

Jake's been on a furniture making spree. He made us a new coffee table. He tried something different this time. He got some circle sawn rough cut lumber and used it to make the coffee table. He had a great idea of using three 12x12 tiles for the top. It looks really good! The pictures just don't do it justice.

The beautiful computer desk that Jake built is done (almost) !!! He still needs to put on the keyboard shelf - but that is drying, so he will put it on later. We are so excited to finally have a beautiful computer desk! It looks so good in our little front room. My favorite feature is the bottom drawer was custom built to fit our printer. It looks so good. I can't brag about it enough. I love it!
