Jake started making this scarf a while ago. One of those things where you put it down and never pick it back up. I decided to finish it. It was almost done. I just added a few rows and the tassels. I turned out pretty cute.
Maddie's beanie. It is January and Maddie still didn't have a beanie, so we thought that she needed one. I have this pattern in one of my crocheting books. It was fun to make. I actually made it twice. The first one that I made was too short. I didn't come down far enough over Maddie's forehead. So I made a second one and just added a few extra rows. It turned out perfect although she hates wearing it. I really like the colors. If you look closely at the pic - you can see Maddie's two new teeth!

Wow Brooke! I love the scarf and the beanie! Beanies are hard (the ones you make in a round) I've made a couple and they never turn out quite how I envisioned them!
WOW! I'm so impressed with the talent you and Jake have! Your girls are adorable. I can't beleive maddie has 2 teeth! She looks so much older than Dylan.
You sure have been going to town on your crocheting. I love the scarf and Maddie's beanie. They both look great.
I love the projects too. What book is the beanie pattern from? I'm with Brandi- I have never had a beanie that I crocheted in the round turn out the way I would like. I might try that pattern if I have it. :)
The girls look very cute in them, too.
Tami - it is the Stitch n' Bitch Crochet the Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller. The pattern is the last one in the book.
Nice job Brooke! You too Jake, for starting the scarf. ;)
Maddie's teeth are so CUTE!
